Momma Tried is a transmedia art project focused on site-specific installations, emerging technology, and a print periodical by the same name. Rooted in constructivism and the confrontation of cooperative fictions, much of their work asks: "Are history and fiction interchangeable?" and "How does art program the future?" Issue 3 of Momma Tried magazine and the companion AR app Program Synthesis follow the narrative of the magazine’s burgeoning sentience and existential conflict as she attempts to avoid the death of print by becoming a cyborg.
